Ok So about 2 - 3 Hours I entered my Pre - Order Package Access Key into my account, type /preorder and As Ecceptect CaptainAmerica, Daggers, SpiritBinder, Scyth And Sunspear spawned.

I used I equipped them, fooled around with them a bit, took screenshots then logged out.

Now not 10 minutes I re-loaded GW, Got a small updated (Adding the Mission map (Press U) To Many other Places and the Facelift updates.

Now when I type /preorder I only Get Captain America, Daggers and Staff, no Scyth or SunSpear.

Is it just me, or did they Nerf My items? I don't care If They are "useless" Untill PvE event and the release, They look cool.

Within the last 15 minutes, I input my key as well and the items are not showing up either, so it's likely something that will be fixed by next weekend.

Question when you manage your keys does it show that you have the new pre order items?

Same. I tried them out with my tank and trashed them. That was maybe 3 hours ago. Now I tried to /bonusitems them again to stick some practice dummies, and now they won't pop up. No idea why anet would disable them. Not like they're really all that useful unless ANET didn't want people abusing their inherent mods.

I entered The Access Key and I got the Items a few hours ago as stated above, PROOF:

Then there was there Update, and I can't Spawn them Anymore, So When I go to manage accounts this is what I get:

Here is the best part, When I try to re-enter my Access Key, they Say I can't, seeing as It's "Already In use".

I know what you mean. Well at least now I know I'm not the only one. It's kinda scarry cuz at them moment, there is NO PROOF that the key is registered to my account lol. No listing under the key management. No bonus items. No bonus slot. And re-entering the key says it's in use. The only proof I had that I had the key was a few hours ago I had the items. Now I don't. Oh well maybe tomorrow I guess.

My /preorder command stopped working for PvP Characters about 2 weeks ago, all my PvE Characters lost the pre order items, and the /preorder command brings them back fine, just PvP Characters, /preorder doesnt work....

This is VERY annoying..

for old preorder items use /bonusitems

I'm just going to say what I've been telling everyone else. I think Anet may have suspended the bonus weapons cause they didn't want people to have them til the pve preview. But if you spawned them before the change; they're still in your inventory.

Hello,

As Knightsaber discovered and then created an image to support, the items are supposed to be available "upon activation of a Nightfall retail key." So the fact that, for a short time, they were spawning must have been an accident. I do not believe that those items will still be in inventories, and I am sure they will no longer be spawning. Upon release of the game, and upon your adding a retail key, you'll get those items!

Ahh. Ok thanks for that clarification Gaile. But could the techs at least enable some kind of indication that we actually have the key entered? At the moment, I believe a lot of the confusion surrounding key activation is that there is no indication whatsoever that it has been done. It's a bit like relying on blind faith that we entered the key correctly.

Now I'm almost certain I have it added to my account because I immediately went into town and typed /bonusitems and I got the scyth and sunspear. But maybe 10 minutes later, we got a pair of updates and now the bonus items cannot be obtained with the /bonusitems command. So from that point on, there is only 1 very obscure way for people to "assume" that they have linked the key to their account and it's a very confusing one. I was lucky enough to get one pretty early and installed it early enough to be able to briefly view the bonus items. But from all accounts, it seems that a lot of people are getting theirs late way after the patch that blocked the bonus items.

Once people enter they key, they get an error message saying something like:
"You cannot add this access key to this guild wars account because you will already have the rights this key provides. Please click the cancel button and create a new guild wars account." Sure sounds like something is wrong. But in fact, they can hit the "add key" button and it will say that the key has been successfully added. But there is no listing in the Key Management screen to indicate that the key was added successfully. No key management listing, no bonus items, no extra slot. So the only way people can MAYBE assume that the key is added successfully is to immediately try to add the key again, only to get an error message saying "this key is already in use". But used by who? Once again not a very definitive indicator.
